The Story
The Cheese Tax is a bite-sized, casual 3D game where players must race against the clock to collect as much cheese as possible. It is a lighthearted time-attack challenge that relies on quick navigation and finding special ability-granting cheeses before the countdown hits zero.
Contributions
- Managed the full technical pipeline from initial prototype to final WebGL deployment using Unity.
- Programmed the 3D third-person character movement, camera controls, and physics-based interactions for food collection.
- Implemented the core logic for scoring, win/lose conditions, and UI updates.
- Optimized 3D assets, lighting, and code performance to ensure a smooth, high-framerate experience within web browsers.
